Elder Derrick R. Ward

The mission of the Men’s Ministry is “The Man In You”…”to strengthen the weak hand and confirm the feeble knees ” through the Word of God.  To lead by example in the fruits of the Holy Spirit.  To renew our minds, provoke others to love and do good works, and clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience by yielding and submitting wholly to the will of God.

A man is not described by what is external to him, but Who is in him!  “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)  A new man is after God’s own heart, and is created in righteousness and holiness.  By this manner, he can be a better person, a better brother, a better employee… a better man!  At New Birth Community Fellowship Church, we hold one another accountable to the Word of God while praying for one another to be true men of God.

Elder Derrick Ward is the Men’s Ministry Leader of New Birth Community Fellowship.  God called us to lead and Jesus Christ leads us.  Elder Derrick guides the men through the Word of God, to have a true design to model, so that we are leaders in God’s house and community.

We invite you to come together and “as iron sharpens iron; so one man sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17).
